SIPA Partners Consultant Selected by the Government of India for Emerging Leaders Program
Earlier this month, SIPA Partners Consultant Sam Baron traveled to New Delhi, India, to participate in the Kautilya Fellows Programme, a highly competitive fellowship organized by India's Ministry of External Affairs and the India Foundation.
As one of just 38 emerging leaders selected from 19 countries worldwide, Baron represented the United States at the prestigious program designed to deepen participants' understanding of India's evolving role in global affairs. The fellowship featured remarkable access to some of India's top officials, including India's Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar, who delivered the inaugural session on May 4th.
The program, held from May 4-11, 2025, offered over 30 expert-led sessions covering India's economic development, constitutional framework, technology landscape, and trade and security policies. Fellows also had the opportunity to meet the Honorable Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, at his official residence and visit India's new Parliament building, inaugurated in 2023.
